El pasado lunes 4 de diciembre, el mundo británico de la moda pudo disfrutar de los Fashion Awards. La edición de este año fue llevada a cabo en el icónico Royal Albert Hall; los anfitriones del show fueron la fabulosa modelo Karlie Kloss y el guapo Jack Whitehall.
Está ceremonia de premiación contó con lo mejor de la industria de la moda británica e internacional, junto a glamurosos invitados entre los cuales estuvieron Anna Wintour, Adwoa Aboah, Selena Gomez, Christopher Bailey MBE, Erykah Badu, Raf Simons, Donatella Versace, Stormzy y Kaia Gerber.
Entre los premiados de la noche estuvieron la modelo Adwoa Aboah como modelo del año. El diseñador británico del año para hombres fue Craig Green para Craig Green; mientras que el diseñador británico del año para mujeres fue Jonathan Anderson para JW Anderson. Por otro lado, el diseñador de accesorios del año fue Jonathan Anderson para Loewe y el premio Swarovski por un cambio positivo se lo llevó Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Fue una noche cargada de emociones, incluyendo un reconocimiento a Azzedine Alaïa en palabras de Naomi Campbell. Sin duda, un evento que cerró con broche de oro el año fashionista.

Last Monday, December 4, the British fashion world enjoyed the Fashion Awards. This year’s edition was held at the iconic Royal Albert Hall; the hosts of the show were the fabulous supermodel Karlie Kloss and the handsome Jack Whitehall.
This award ceremony featured the best of the British and international fashion industry, along with glamorous guests including Anna Wintour, Adwoa Aboah, Selena Gomez, Christopher Bailey MBE, Erykah Badu, Raf Simons, Donatella Versace, Stormzy and Kaia Gerber.
Among the winners of the night were the model Adwoa Aboah as model of the year. The British designer of the year for menswear was Craig Green for Craig Green; while the British designer of the year for womenswear was Jonathan Anderson for JW Anderson. On the other hand, the accessories designer of the year was Jonathan Anderson for Loewe and the Swarovski award for a positive change was taken by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
It was a night full of emotions, including a recognition to Azzedine Alaïa legacy in the words of Naomi Campbell. Undoubtedly, an event that closed the fashionista year with a flourish.
